Brent McKay, BScN, RN, MACP

- Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Nurse

I help adults and couples untangle the deep roots of developmental trauma, complex PTSD, addictions, mood instability, and personality challenges. Many grew up in environments where they had to survive, not thrive—leaving them stuck, dysregulated, or disconnected. I also work with first responders carrying the weight of high-stress roles. My approach is relational and trauma-informed, offering a grounded space to heal emotional patterns, relationship ruptures, and identity struggles from the inside out.

I specialize in complex PTSD, trauma, developmental trauma, addictions, mood disorders, and personality disorders. My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing on NARM, IFS, EMDR, CFT, Adlerian psychoanalysis and somatic tools to help you restore regulation, meaning, and self-trust.

Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken, it’s about reclaiming what was lost. You don’t have to untangle everything alone. I offer a grounded, compassionate space where you can explore your past, reconnect with your self, and move forward with clarity and care.
